Hi, I’m Havishaa!
I graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management, specialising in product buying and brand communications across fashion and luxury.
I’ve always been curious about the whys and hows of the industry, with a particular interest in fashion journalism, art and business. That curiosity, and a constant desire to keep learning, eventually made me want to put my own perspectives into words.
So I started Off the Catwalk as a space to explore those ideas further, question what is happening in the industry and share what I discover along the way.
The Publication in 15 Seconds
Fashion is usually seen at its most finished: on the runway, in campaigns, on our feeds.
Off the Catwalk is interested in everything that sits behind that final image.
The ideas, materials, business decisions, cultural shifts and people shaping where fashion goes next, explored through an independent point of view.
Less about telling you what happened. More about asking, why does it matter? Think of it as stepping off the catwalk and into the conversation behind it.

We live in an era where we consume more fashion than ever before, flooded with endless collections, trend recaps and outfit inspos. But more information does not always mean more understanding.
This is a space to look beyond the headlines and explore the ideas, innovations and shifts actually shaping the industry, from sustainability and new materials to business, culture, as well as what fashion and luxury could look like next.
Rather than another news recap, I invite you to explore the industry alongside me, question it a little more deeply, and hopefully leave with a sharper point of view.
